Consequent upon declaration of name of Shri Ashok Kumar Chauhan as “Unconditional and Final” by the UPSC and appointed to IAS officer of Madhya Pradesh Cadre on basis of Select List 2017(SCS Category) (Against vacancies arisen between 1.1.2017 to 31.12.2017) vide DOPT’s Notification No. 14015/13/2018-AIS-(I) B dated 17.12.2018 and on receipt of the proposal for fixation of seniority/year of allotment from the Government of Madhya Pradesh vide letter No. E.I/444/2017/5/I dated 04.01.2019, the seniority/year of allotment of has been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987 and other relevant rules as amended from time to time and Weightage formula:

No.1 is restricted as per proviso to Rule 3(3)(ii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules. 1987 which provides that the officer shall not be assigned a year of allotment earlier than the year of allotment assigned to an officer senior to him in that select list or appointed to the service on the basis of an earlier select list.

2.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, officer mentioned at SI. No. 1 in the Select List of 2017(SCS Category) shall be placed below Shri Sheelendra Singh, a junior most promotee IAS officer of 2010 batch (Select List-2016 SCS) and above Shri V.S. Choudary Kolasani, senior most RR IAS officer of 2011 batch of Madhya Pradesh Cadre.

  1. This issues in addition of this Department’s Order of even number dated 28th March, 2018.
