ORDER
Consequent upon appointment of Shri Prakash T. Vaichal from State Civil Service to IAS of Maharashtra cadre on the basis of inclusion of his name at SI. No.1 in the Select List of 2020 not later than his immediate junior Shri B.H. Palawe (SI.No.2) in pursuance of directions of Ld. CAT, Mumbai Bench contained in its order dated 01.09.2023 in O.A. No.833/2022 vide this Department’s order No.22012/09/2023-AIS.I dated 9th October, 2023, and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of Maharashtra vide their letter No.AIS-1022/C.R.398/2022/IAS 1(X) dated 23.10.2023, the seniority/year of allotment of the officer has been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, and other relevant rules as amended from time to time. The weightage formula is as under:-

2.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 1 in the Select List 2020 shall be placed below Shri A.A. Patil, Promotee IAS officer of 2012 batch (SCS category from Select List 2019) and above Shri Abhijit Rajendra Raut, the senior most RR IAS officer of 2013 batch of Maharashtra cadre.
3. This issues in partial modification of this Department’s order of even number dated 16.11.2022 and may be conveyed to the concerned officer(s).
