This notification announces the appointment of members from the Non-State Civil Service of Tamil Nadu to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). These appointments are made against vacancies identified for the 2011 Select List, with the individuals placed on probation until further orders. They will be allocated to the Tamil Nadu Cadre. NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 8(2) of the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954 read with Regulation 8 of the Indian Administrative Service (Appointment by Selection) Regulations, 1997 and Rule 3 of the Indian Administrative Service (Probation) Rules, 1954, the President is pleased to appoint the following member of the Non-State Civil Service of Tamil Nadu to the Indian Administrative Service against the vacancies determined by Government of India under Regulation 5(1) of the said Regulations in consultation with the State Government for the Select List 2011 (Against the vacancies of 2011), on probation until further orders and to allocate him to the Tamil Nadu Cadre, under Rule 5(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954.
