This innovative system aims to modernize how the Central Secretariat Services (CSS), Central Secretariat Stenographers Service (CSSS), and Central Secretariat Clerical Service (CSCS) are managed. To ensure a smooth rollout and effective data compilation, all relevant ministries and departments are urged to promptly designate a nodal officer. These officers will serve as crucial points of contact, providing essential particulars like their name, contact address, telephone, fax, and email ID. Their immediate nomination is vital for coordinating efforts and facilitating the successful implementation of this project across various governmental bodies.

The undersigned is to refer to this Department’s D.O. letter of even
number dated 15.06.2012 regarding development of a web based cadre
management system for the three Central Secretariat Services viz. Central
Secretariat Services (CSS), Central Secretariat Stenographers Service
(CSSS) and Central Secretariat Clerical Service (CSCS).

  1. The particulars of the nodal officer for the aforementioned project have
    not yet been received from several Ministries/ Departments. As DoPT will be
    circulating the form for compilation of data in respect of all officers of CSS
    shortly, it is again requested that Ministries/ Departments may nominate a
    nodal officer and furnish his/her particulars viz. name, postal address,
    telephone/fax number & email-id immediately to this Department to enable
    better co-ordination with various Ministries/ Departments in implementing the
    project.
