The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Ms. Supriya Patil Yadav, IPS (MH:2004), DIG, CBI as Joint Director, CBI. Her tenure will be for eight years from the date of assumption of the charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier. This order was issued by the Under Secretary to the Government of India and is addressed to the Director, Central Bureau of Investigation.
