The President of India has appointed Ms. Soma Mondal as a Member of the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB). This appointment is effective from the forenoon of May 1st, 2023, and will be for a tenure of three years or until she attains the age of 65, whichever comes first. The notification, issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training, has been dated May 3rd, 2023. Several individuals and departments have been copied on this notification, including Ms. Soma Mondal herself, the Chairperson and other Members of PESB, the Secretary of PESB, and various administrative and functional units within the Department of Personnel & Training and other ministries.
