This notification announces the appointment of Mrs. Doma Tshering Sherpa, a member of the West Bengal West Bengal Administrative Service, to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) for the year 2008. The appointment is made by the President under Rule 9(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Appointment by Promotion) Regulations, 1955, read with Rule 3 of the Indian Administrative Service (Probation) Rules, 1954, and Rule 8(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954. Mrs. Sherpa will be on probation until further orders and has been allocated to the West Bengal cadre of the IAS, as per Rule 5(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954. The decision was made after consultation with the state government regarding vacancies determined by the Central Government.

, भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (पदोन्न्ति द्वारा नियुक्ति) विनियमावली, 1955 के विनियम 9(।) तथा भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (परीवीक्षा) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 3 के साथ पठित भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (भर्ती) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 8(1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए राष्ट्रपति, चयन सूची वर्ष 2008 के लिए, राज्य-सरकार के परामर्श से उपर्युक्त विनियमावली के विनियम 5(।) के अंतर्गत भारत-सरकार द्वारा निर्धारित रिक्तियों पर भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा में पष्चिम बंगाल की पष्चिम बंगाल प्रशासनिक सेवा की सदस्य श्रीमती डोमा टीशेयरिंग शेरपा (एस.टी.) को अगले आदेशों तक परिवीक्षा पर नियुक्त करते हैं और उन्हें भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (संवर्ग) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 5(।) के अन्तर्गत भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा के पष्चिम बंगाल संवर्ग में आबंटित करते हैं ।
