ORDER
Consequent upon appointment of officers of Jharkhand Cadre from Non-State Civil Services to IAS on the basis of inclusion of their names in the Select List 2018 vide this Department’s Notification No. No. 14015/10/2019-AIS-(I) B dated 17.02.2020 and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of Jharkhand vide their letter No. No. 1/C-206/2019 Part-A-1377 dated 24.02.2020, the seniority/year of allotment of the officers has been computed under Rule 3(3)(iii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, other relevant rules as amended from time to time and the weightage formula:-

- Seniority/year of allotment of officers mentioned in the table at SI. No. 2 to 3 in the Select List of 2018 (Non-SCS Category) has been restricted under provisions of the rule 3(3)(ii) of IAS(Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987 which provide that an officer shall not be assigned year of allotment earlier than year of allotment assigned to other officer senior to him in that Select List or appointed on the basis of earlier Select List. 3.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, officers mentioned at SI. No. 1 to 3 in the Select List of 2018 (Non-SCS Category) shall be placed below Shri Sanjiv Kumar Besra, junior most RR IAS officer of 2012 batch and above Shri Suraj Kumar, senior most RR IAS officer of 2013 batch of Jharkhand Cadre.
