The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training, has issued an order approving the appointment of Smt. Gagandeep Gambhir and Shri Asra Garg as DIG in the CBI. Their extended tenures are approved until May 15, 2021, and January 11, 2022, respectively, with each appointment totaling five years. Additionally, the appointment of Shri Sonal Agnihotri as DIG in CBI has been approved, along with an extension of his tenure by three months, from May 31, 2018, to August 31, 2018. The order has been sent to the Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation, with copies to the Central Vigilance Commissioner, DS(Police) MHA, Director (Technical) NIC for website update, and the Guard File.
