ORDER

Consequent upon appointment of officers of Chhattisgarh Cadre from State Civil Services to IAS on the basis of inclusion of their names in the Select List 2017 vide DoPT’s Notification No. 14015/05/2018-AIS-(I)-B dated 21st May, 2019 and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of Chhatishgarh vide their letter No.E-1-4/2018/1/2 dated 12.07.2019, the seniority/year of allotment of the officers has been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, other relevant rules as amended from time to time with weightage formula:-

Page 1 of 2* Seniority/year of allotment of officer mentioned at SI. No. 1 in the Select List of 2017 (SCS Category) has been restricted under provisions of the rule 3(3)(ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority). Rules, 1987 which provide that an officer shall not be assigned year of allotment earlier than year of allotment assigned to other officer senior to him in that Select List or appointed on the basis of earlier Select List.

2.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer whose name mentioned at SI. No. 1 in Select List of 2017 shall be placed below Shri Sanjay Agrawal, the junior most promotee IAS officer of 2012 batch (SL-2016 SCS) and above Ms. Namrata Gandhi, the senior most RR IAS officer of 2013 batch of Chhattisgarh cadre.

2.2 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer whose name mentioned at SI. No. 2 of the select list of 2017 shall be placed below Shri Rajendra Kumar Katara, the junior most RR IAS officer of 2013 batch and above Shri Kundan Kumar, the senior most RR IAS officer of 2014 batch of Chhattisgarh cadre.
