ORDER
Consequent upon appointment of officers of Bihar Cadre from State Civil Services to IAS on the basis of inclusion of their names in the Select Lists of 2016 and 2017 vide this Department’s Notification No. 14015/04/2018-AIS-(I) B dated 15.12.2020 and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of Bihar vide their letter No. 1/C-1005/2019-GAD-12374 dated 22.12.2020, the seniority/year of allotment of the officers has been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, and other relevant rules as amended from time to time. The weightage formula is as under:-

2.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, officers mentioned at SI. No. 1 to 5 in the Select List of 2016 shall be placed below Shri Vijay Kumar, junior most promotee IAS officer of 2007 batch (SL-2015) and above Md. Sohail, senior most promotee IAS officer of 2007 batch (Non-SCS Category-SL 2012 batch) of Bihar Cadre.
2.2 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, officers mentioned at SI. No. 6 to 8 in the Select List of 2016 shall be placed below Shri Giriwar Dayal Singh, junior most RR IAS officer of 2008 batch and above Satish Kumar Singh, senior most promotee IAS officer of 2008 batch (Non-SCS category- SL of 2014-A) of Bihar Cadre.
