This notification announces the appointment of Sh. Ashok Deswal, previously a member of the State Civil Service of Madhya Pradesh, to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). This appointment is effective immediately and is on probation until further orders. He has been allocated to the Madhya Pradesh Cadre. The appointment is contingent upon the final decision of O.A. NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of Rule 8 of the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954 read with sub-regulation (1) of Regulation 9 of the Indian Administrative Service (Appointment by Promotion) Regulations, 1955 and Rule 3 of the Indian Administrative Service (Probation) Rules, 1954, the President is pleased to appoint Sh. Ashok Deswal, a member of the State Civil Service of Madhya Pradesh to the Indian Administrative Service against the vacancy for the year 2007 on probation with immediate effect until further orders and to allocate him to the Madhya Pradesh Cadre, under sub-rule (1) of Rule 5 of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954.
2. The appointment of above officer is subject to the final decision in O.A. No. 375/2008 filed by Madhya Pradesh Indian Administrative Service Officers Association before the Hon’ble CAT, Jabalpur Bench.
