This notification announces amendments to the Indian Administrative Service (Probationers’ Final Examination) Regulations, 1955. Effective from January 7, 2021, the terms “Jammu & Kashmir” and the regional languages “Urdu, Kashmiri or Dogri” will be omitted from the first column of the Second Schedule. Additionally, in the second column, the phrase “Urdu or Gujarati” will be substituted with “Urdu, Kashmiri, Dogri or Gujarati” for Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram, and Union Territories. These changes are made in exercise of powers conferred by the All India Services Act, 1951, and the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act, 2019.

सा.का.नि. 181(अ).—जम्मू और कश्मीर पुनर्गठन अधिनियम, 2019 (2019 का 34) की धारा 88 और
भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (परिवीक्षा) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 7 के साथ पठित अखिल भारतीय सेवा अधिनियम,
1951 (1951 का 61) की धारा 3 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केंद्र सरकार, संबंधित राज्यों की सरकारों के
परामर्श के पध्दात्, भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (परिवीक्षकों की अंतिम परीक्षा) विनियमावली, 1955 में और संशोधन करने
के लिए, एतदद्वारा निम्नलिखित विनियम बनाती है, नामतः –
- (1) इन विनियमों को भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (परिवीक्षकों की अंतिम परीक्षा) संशोधन विनियमावली, 2022
कहा जा सकेगा।
(2) ये 7 जनवरी, 2021 से प्रभावी हुए माने जाएंगे।
- भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (परिवीक्षकों की अंतिम परीक्षा) विनियमावली, 1955 में, दूसरी अनुसूची में-
(क) प्रथम कॉलम में, शब्द “जम्मू और कश्मीर” और दूसरे कॉलम में विनिर्दिष्ट क्षेत्रीय भाषाएं, “उर्दू, कश्मीरी
अथवा डोगरी” का लोप किया जाएगा।
(ख) दूसरे कॉलम में, अरुणाचल प्रदेश, गोवा, मिजोरम और संघ राज्य क्षेत्रों के समक्ष आने वाले शब्दों, “उर्दू अथवा गुजराती” के लिए शब्द “उर्दू, कश्मीरी, डोगरी अथवा गुजराती” को प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा। [फा. सं. 14015/40/2021-अभामे-I(5)]

G.S.R. 181(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the All India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), read with section 88 of the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act, 2019 (34 of 2019) and rule 7 of the Indian Administrative Service (Probation) Rules, 1954, the Central Government, after consultation with the Governments of States concerned, hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Indian Administrative Service (Probationers’ Final Examination), Regulations, 1955 namely:-
- (1) These regulations may be called the Indian Administrative Service (Probationers’ Final Examination) Amendments Regulations, 2022.
(2) They shall be deemed to have come into force on the 7th day of January, 2021.
- In the Indian Administrative Service (Probationers’ Final Examination) Regulations, 1955, in the SECOND SCHEDULE –
(A) in first column, the words “Jammu & Kashmir” and the Regional Languages specified in the second column “Urdu, Kashmiri or Dogri” shall be omitted.
(B) in second column, for the words “Urdu or Gujarati”, occurring against Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram and Union Territories, the words “Urdu, Kashmiri, Dogri or Gujarati” shall be substituted.
