This notification introduces amendments to the Central Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1964, specifically focusing on the reporting of immovable property by government servants. Key changes include clarifying that those already belonging to a service or holding a post are not required to submit a fresh return when appointed to another civil service or post. Furthermore, it mandates that all government servants in Group A or Group B must submit an annual return detailing immovable property owned, inherited, acquired, or held on lease or mortgage, either in their own name or in the name of any family member or another person. These amendments come into effect from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
