S.O. 1282.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, read with rule 33 of the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1965, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1965, namely:
- These rules may be called the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Amendment Rules, 1967.

In Schedule IV to the Civilians in Defence Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1952, after serial No. 19 and the entries relating thereto the following shall be inserted, namely:
“20. Posts on the establishment of Defence Headquarters Security Troops (except posts against which personnel are provided by the Chief Administrative Officer, Ministry of Defence).
Security Officer, Ministry Government of India, of Defence in his capacity as Officer Commanding, Defence Headquarters Security Troops.
