Sir,
I am directed to say that the matter of allocation of Smt. Ponnamma Thangchan to Uttarakhand along with other Staff Nurses / Sisters was received earlier through a reference received from Shri Harish Rawat, Hon’ble Minister of State, Government of India. In her representation Smt. Thangchan has intimated that she is retiring on 31-08-2012 and requested for retention in Uttarakhand.
2. The matter has been considered by the Central Government and it is found that she is covered under the Guidelines on State Reorganization issued vide No. 28/1/2000-SRS dated 27-07-2005. It has, therefore, been decided to allocate her to Uttarakhand in terms of the aforesaid Guidelines. Accordingly, Smt. Ponnamma Thangchan who was a Sister on the appointed day and is now a matron, is hereby allocated to Uttarakhand. The concerned official may be apprised of the position.
