Subject: Allocation of Smt. Geeta Jauhri, Draftsman, to Uttarakhand under Spouse Policy as recommended by the Advisory Committee in its meeting held on 15.06.2011.
Sir,
I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to say that the representation dt. 31.12.2010 of Smt. Geeta Jauhri, Draftsman in terms of directions dt. 14.12.2010 of Hon’ble Uttarakhand High Court in WP No. 1178(S/S)/2005 vide which the Hon’ble Court had directed Govt. of India to decide her case under spouse policy on the basis of letter dt. 22.06.2004 received from the State Govt., within 3 months of service of a copy of the order, was considered by the Advisory Committee in its meeting held on 15.06.2011. The Committee recommended for revision of allocation of Smt. Geeta Jauhri to Uttarakhand under Spouse Policy on the ground that her husband is an employee of the State Government of Uttarakhand.
2. The Government of India has accepted the recommendation dated 15.06 .2011 of the Committee and accordingly Smt. Geeta Jauhri is hereby allocated toUttarakhand.
3. Officer concerned may kindly be apprised of the decision.
