A significant decision concerning the posting of medical personnel has been finalized by the Government of India. Dr. Tripti Bahuguna, a Medical Officer, had expressed her preference for state allocation following the reorganization of Uttar Pradesh. Initially, she opted for Uttarakhand, but later submitted a revised preference for Uttar Pradesh. After careful review, a dedicated committee, after considering her original choice, recommended her allocation to Uttarakhand based on her first expressed option. This recommendation has now been officially accepted, confirming Dr. Bahuguna’s posting to the successor State of Uttarakhand.

Sir,
I am directed to say that the representation of Dr. Tripti Bahuguna, Medical Officer(Female)(PHMS), Medical \& Health Department of the erstwhile State of Uttar Pradesh for allocation to Uttarakhand on option basis was considered by the Committee headed by, Joint Secretary, (AT\&A), DOPT in its meeting held on 9.7.2010. The Committee found that she has initially opted for Uttarakhand but gave a subsequent option for U.P within the option deadline. Her first option was brought to the notice of the Committee for consideration. The Committee recommended for her allocation to Uttarakhand on first option basis.
The Government of India has accepted the recommendations of the Committee and accordingly 3 the allocation of Dr. Tripti Bahuguna, Medical Officer(Female)(PMHS), Medical \& Health Department is revised to the successor State of Uttarakhand. Official concerned may kindly be apprised of the position.
