Allocation of IAS Officers between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, dated the $30^{\text {th }}$ May, 2014 S.O. -In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 76 read with section 79 and section 81 of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014 (6 of 2014) read with rule 5 of the Indian Administrative Service(Cadre) Rules, 1954, the Central Government hereby provisionally allocates- (i) the following members of the Indian Administrative Service borne on the undivided cadre of Andhra Pradesh to the State of Telangana cadre of Indian Administrative Service with effect from $2^{\text {nd }}$ day of June, 2014 till further order:

(ii) the Indian Administrative Service officers borne on the undivided cadre of Indian Administrative Service of Andhra Pradesh working, as on $1^{\text {st }}$ day of June, 2014, in the offices having jurisdiction within the successor State of Telangana to the Indian Administrative Service cadre of that State till further order; (iii) the Indian Administrative Service officers borne on the undivided cadre of Indian Administrative Service of the State of Andhra Pradesh working, as on $1^{\text {st }}$ day of June, 2014, in the offices having jurisdiction within the successor State of Andhra Pradesh to the Indian Administrative Service cadre of that State till further order;

(iv) all Indian Administrative Service officers who are posted in offices having statewide jurisdiction borne on the cadre of Indian Administrative Service of undivided State of Andhra Pradesh, except the officers allocated to the State of Telangana as referred to in para (i), to the successor State of Andhra Pradesh, till further order;
(v) all Indian Administrative Service officers borne on the cadre of Indian Administrative Service of undivided State of Andhra Pradesh, except the officers allocated to the State of Telangana, to the successor State of Andhra Pradesh, till their final allocation.
2. The provisional allocation shall not confer any right on any officer so allocated, for being allocated to either of the successor States during their final allocation in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.
