This notification announces the reallocation of Shri Ashwini Kumar Rai, an IAS officer from the Kerala cadre, to the Madhya Pradesh cadre. This decision is made in accordance with orders from the Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court, exercising powers under the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954. This supersedes a previous notification from 1991 and is based on the results of the 1989 Civil Services Examination. Copies of this notification are being forwarded for necessary action to the Chief Secretaries and Accountant Generals of Kerala and Madhya Pradesh.

NOTIFICATION
In pursuance of the Order dated 20.7.2007 of Delhi High Court in CWP No. 5622/99 read with the Order dated 9.5.2008 of the Supreme Court in SLP No. 6788/2008, and dated 19.5.2008 in CM No. 7374-75/2008 of the High court of Delhi, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of Rule 5 of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules 1954, and in supersession of this Ministry’s Notification No. 13013/15/91/AIS(I) dated 30.12.1991, hereby allocates Shri Ashwini Kumar Rai, IAS (RR:90) from Kerala cadre of IAS to Madhya Pradesh Cadre of IAS on the basis of the results of the Civil Services Examination, 1989.
