Sub: All India Civil Services Carrom Tournament 2018-19

The Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board is organizing All India Civil Services Carrom Tournament 2018-19 at New Delhi. Details of the tournaments are as:

1. A copy of the updated rules for All India Civil Services Tournaments indicating eligibility criteria, composition of Team Rules of games etc has already been circulated to all concerned.
2. The States/UTs and Regional Sports Boards are requested to consider entering their team for the above All India Civil Services Tournament. The entries may be sent in the prescribed proforma (Copy Attached) to the Secretary, CCSCSB at Room No. 361, B-wing, $3^{\text {rd }}$ Floor, Lok Nayak Bhawan, Khan Market, New Delhi on or before $05^{\text {th }}$ March, 2019.
3. Please ensure that the entries are submitted within prescribed time limits. Teams are requested to make their own arrangements for accommodation and transportation.
4. List of players along with photocopy of their Identity Card should be authenticated by the authorized officer under his signature \& seal.

6. Managers’ meeting will be held at 6:00 PM on 10.03.2019 at the venue of the Tournament.

1. Addresses, Telephone Numbers, E-mail Addresses may be indicated by the participating States/UTs/RSBs.

1. All the participants shall carry individual Identity Card/Identity Slip for verification of eligibility criteria by the Organizing Committee/Representatives of the Board at the venue of the All India Civil Services Tournament.
2. Every participating team may bring two flags representing their States/UT/Regional Sports Board with them.
3. It should be ensured that every member of the team reports at the venue and participates in the tournament as scheduled. Failure to do so shall be treated as an act of indiscipline. All the participants shall maintain strict discipline on and off the venue of the tournament. Any act of indiscipline/misbehavior/misconduct will attract the provision of CCS (Conduct) Rules since Government Employees are treated ‘ON DUTY’ during All India Civil Services Tournament.
4. The information about rules and regulation, entry form, change in dates/venue/cancellation etc. about the AICS Tournament is available on our website i.e. (https://dopt.gov.in/about-us/wings-or-division-in-dopt/welfaredivisions). All the participating teams are, therefore requested to check our website/organizers of the tournament about any possible change before starting their journey.
5. Referees’ decision shall be final and binding on the competing teams.

VERIFICATION CERTIFICATE

This Ministry/Department intends to enter a team for Inter-Ministry Tournament/Competition. Accordingly the entry form duly filled up is sent herewith. I hereby undertake on behalf of the Ministry to abide by the rules and instruction of the Tournament/Competition.

I certify that the players mentioned in this form who will play in the Inter-Ministry Tournament/Competition are employees of the Central/State Government. No member of the team is a casual / daily wage employee. All the players are eligible to participate in the tournament/competition as per eligibility criteria laid down by the Board . In case if it is found that any member of the team is no eligible and is included in the team, the team will be automatically disqualified from the tournament/competition without any notice to this Ministry/Department.

I also undertake the responsibility to ensure that this Ministry’s team after being entered in the Tournament/Competition will participate in the Tournament/Competition and at any stage would not refuse to participate or withdraw from the Tournament/Competition without prior approval of the Board.

I also certify that all the players participating in the Inter-Ministry Tournament are physically fit. Although CCSCSB provides first aid, any injury or mishap would not be the responsibility of the Board.
