Sub: All India Civil Services Athletics Meet 2016-17 in New Delhi.

The Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board (CCSCSB) is organizing All India Civil Services Athletics Meet 2016-17 in New Delhi. The guidelines \& list of events is enclosed. Details of the meet are as under:

1. A copy of the updated rules for All India Civil Services Tournaments indicating eligibility criteria, composition of Team Rules of games etc has already been circulated to all concerned. The same is available on the website at http://dopt.gov.in/aboutus/wings-or-division-in-dopt/welfare-divisions $\rightarrow$ Sports $\rightarrow$ Recent/General Circulars $\rightarrow$ All India Civil Service Tournament.
2. The States/UTs and Regional Sports Boards are requested to consider entering their team for the above All India Civil Services Athletics Meet. The entries may be sent in the prescribed performa (copy attached) direct to the contact officer/organizer indicated at para 14 on or before $24^{\text {th }}$ March, 2017. While forwarding the names of participants for the said tournaments, the competent authority may please ensure that all the participants are medically fit to participate in the said tournaments/events.

4. Competition will be held on Grass Track

1. List of players along with photocopy of their Identity Card should be authenticated by the authorized officer under his signature \& seal.
2. All the participants shall carry individual Identity Card/Identity Slip for verification of eligibility criteria by the Organizing Committee/Representatives of the Board at the venue of the All India Civil Services Tournament.
3. Addresses, Telephone Numbers, E-mail Addresses may be indicated by the participating State/UTs/RSB’s.
4. Managers meeting are likely to be held on the evening of a day before the date of commencement of the tournament.

1. Every participating team may bring two flags representing their States/UT/Regional Sports Board with them.
2. It should be ensured that every member of the team report at the venue and participates in the tournament as scheduled. Failure to do so shall be treated as an act of indiscipline. All the participants shall maintain strict discipline on and off the venue of the tournament. Any act of indiscipline/misbehavior/misconduct will attract the provision of CCS (Conduct) Rules since Government Employees are treated ‘ON DUTY’ during All India Civil Services Tournament.
3. The information about rules and regulation, entry form, change in dates/venue/cancellation etc. about the AICS Tournament is available on our website i.e.www.persmin.nic.in.→Department of Personnel & Training →About us→Welfare→Sports→AICS Tournament Rules. All the participants’ teams are, therefore requested to check from our website/organizers of the tournament about any possible change before starting their journey.
4. Referee’s/Umpires decision shall be final and binding on the competing teams.
5. Participants are requested to make their own arrangement of accommodation & transport facilities. However if any assistance is required for the same you may contact to the person mentioned at Sl. No.(v) of below para:

Guidelines and list of events for AICS Athletic Meet 2016-17

1. All India Civil Services Athletics Meet will be conducted as per the Rules and Regulations of Athletic Federation of India.

2. In this Athletic meet 7 events of Men Veteran in two categories & 3 events of Women Veteran have been included at the first time.

3. Each State team can enter maximum two athletes in each event. One reserve entry will be accepted in each event.

4. An athlete can participate only in two individual events (including veteran events) and in two Relay events.

5. Only one Relay team will be allowed to enter from each State.

6. The event may be conducted with minimum number of four participants from two different States.

7. The First, Second & Third place winners will be given medals.

8. Best Athlete Trophy in Men & Women (Open Section) will be identified based on points tabulated from the point table (IAAF Scoring table) in relation to their performance in each event in competition.

9. Team Championships in Men & Women (Open Section) will be awarded on the basis of points tally to the best six winners in each event. The points will be 7, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 for first six places.

10. Any decision taken during the “Managers Meeting” will be honoured and implemented as decided.

Men (Open) – 100 mtrs, 200 mtrs, 400 mtrs, 800 mtrs, 1500 mtrs, 5000 mtrs, 10000 mtrs, 110 mtrs Hurdles, 400 mtrs Hurdles, 4×100 mtrs Relay, 4×400 mtrs Relay, Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault, Shot Put, Discus Throw, Hammer Throw, Javelin Throw.

Women (Open) – 100 mtrs, 200 mtrs, 400 mtrs, 800 mtrs, 1500 mtrs, 100 mtrs Hurdles, 4×100 mtrs Relay, 4×400 mtrs Relay, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, Discus Throw, Javelin Throw.

Men Veteran (40 yrs to 50 yrs) – 100 mtrs, 800 mtrs, Long Jump, Shot Put.

Men Veteran (51 yrs to 60 yrs) – 100 mtrs, Long Jump, Shot Put.

Women Veteran (above 35 yrs) – 100 mtrs, 200 mtrs, Long Jump.
