Subject: Acceptance of election results in respect of Central Government Employees Residents Welfare Association, Type-II, III \& IV, Sector5, R.K. Puram, New Delhi for the block year 2017-19.

Please refer to your letters dated 13.06.2017, 27.6.2017, 12.07.2017 and 17.7.2017 on the above subject. On examination of the reports submitted by you, it has been found that the Returning Officer did not conduct election of the RWA held on 28.5.2017 in a fair and transparent manner. He did not follow provisions of the Model Constitution for Residents Welfare Associations framed by this Department during conduct of the election. Therefore, it has been decided that election of the CGERWA, Type II, III \& IV, Sector-5, R.K. Puram, New Delhi held on 28.5.2017 may be treated as null and void.
2. It is requested that a proposal for constitution of an ad-hoc Managing Committee for conduct of election of the RWA for the block year 2017-19 may be submitted to this Department for approval. The Managing Committee should comprise of non-controversial members of the RWA. The election may be conducted in a fair and transparent manner following provisions of the Model Constitution.
