This change is expected to make the process more efficient for officials seeking an early return to their parent cadres, as exemplified by a case involving an IAS officer’s request to move between Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh cadres.

Subject: ACC directives – Delegation of power to approve premature repatriation of officers on Inter-Cadre deputation – regarding.
While considering a proposal of premature repatriation of Ms. Sonali Ponkshe Vayangankar, IAS(MP:2000) from Maharashtra cadre to Madhya Pradesh cadre before completion of Inter cadre deputation in the ACC, the Competent Authority has approved the proposal to delegate to the Cabinet Secretary, the powers to approve premature repatriation of officers on inter cadre deputation tenure, on the $31^{\text {st }}$ May, previous to the date of the end of the tenure of the officer on personal grounds such as children’s education.
