The Central Government has officially rescinded the notification that established the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal. This tribunal, initially set up on November 1, 1989, is now being dissolved following a request from the Andhra Pradesh government, which also secured the concurrence of the Andhra Pradesh High Court. The rescission takes effect from the date of this notification’s publication in the Gazette of India, with the exception of any actions or omissions that occurred before this dissolution.

सा.का.नि. 30 (अ).— केंद्रीय सरकार ने, प्रशासनिक अधिकरण अधिनियम, 1985 (1985 का 13) की धारा 4 की उप-धारा (2) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और इस विषय में आन्ध्र प्रदेश राज्य सरकार से अनुरोध प्राप्त होने पर, भारत सरकार के कार्मिक, लोक शिकायत तथा पेंशन मंत्रालय (कार्मिक और प्रशिक्षण विभाग) के राजपत्र, असाधारण के भाग II, खंड-3, उप-खंड (i) में प्रकाशित अधिसूचना संख्या सा.का.नि. 928 (अ) दिनांक 26 अक्टूबर, 1989 द्वारा आन्ध्र प्रदेश प्रशासनिक अधिकरण को दिनांक 1 नवंबर, 1989 से स्थापित किया है;
और आन्ध्र प्रदेश राज्य सरकार ने, आन्ध्र प्रदेश उड्ड न्यायलय की सहमति प्राप्त करने के पश्चात, अब उक्त आन्ध्र प्रदेश प्रशासनिक अधिकरण को समाप्त करने के लिए अनुरोध किया है;
अतः अब, केंद्रीय सरकार, साधारण खंड अधिनियम, 1897 (1897 का 10) की धारा 21 के साथ पठित प्रशासनिक अधिकरण अधिनियम, 1985 (1985 का 13) की धारा 4 की उप-धारा (2) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, एतद्वारा विखंडित करने से पूर्व की जानी वाली अथवा हटाई जाने वाली सम्बंधित चीज़ो को छोड़कर, 26 अक्टूबर, 1989 की उक्त अधिसूचना संख्या सा.का.नि. 928 (अ) को भारत के राजपत्र में इस अधिसूचना के प्रकाशन की तारीख से विखंडित करती है।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 14th January, 2020
G.S.R. 30 (E).-Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 4 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 (13 of 1985) and on receipt of the request from the Government of the State of Andhra Pradesh in this behalf, the Central Government has established the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal with effect from the 1st day of November, 1989 vide notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievance and Pensions (Department of Personnel and Training), published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section(i), vide number GSR 928(E), dated the 26th October, 1989;
And whereas, the Government of the State of Andhra Pradesh, after obtaining the concurrence of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh, has now made a request for abolition of the said Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 4 of the Administrative Tribunals Act 1985(13 of 1985), read with section 21 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (10 of 1897), the Central Government hereby rescinds the said notification number G.S.R. 928 (E), dated the 26th October, 1989, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such rescission, with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette of India.
