सा.का.नि. 58(अ).—अखिल भारतीय सेवाएँ अधिनियम, 1951 (1951 का 61) को धारा 3 की उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार, संबंधित राज्य सरकारों के साथ परामर्श करने के पश्चात् अखिल भारतीय सेवाएँ (मृत्यु-सह-सेवानिवृत्ति-लाभ) नियमावली, 1958 में आगे और संशोधन करने के लिए एतदृद्वारा निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती हैं :-
- (1) इन नियमों को अखिल भारतीय सेवाएँ (मृत्यु-सह-सेवानिवृत्ति-लाभ) संशोधन नियमावली, 2007 कहा जाए ।
- (2) ये सरकारी राजपत्र में इनके प्रकाशन की तिथि से लागू होंगे ।
- अखिल भारतीय सेवाएँ (मृत्यु-सह-सेवानिवृत्ति-लाभ) नियमावली, 1958 के नियम 16 के उप-नियम (2क) में दूसरे परन्तुक के बाद, निम्नलिखित परन्तुक में जोड़ा जाएगा, अर्थात् :-
“यह भी प्रावधान है कि असम-मेघालय, मणिपुर-त्रिपुरा, नागालैंड तथा सिक्किम संवर्गों से सेवा शुरू करने वाले कोई सदस्य सेवा से उस तिथि सेवानिवृत्ति हो जाते हैं जिसको वे सेवा के 15 वर्ष पूरे कर लेते हैं ।”

New Delhi, the 31st January, 2007
G.S.R. 58(E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the All India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), the Central Government, after consultation with the Governments of the States concerned, hereby makes the following rules further to amend the All India Services (Death-cum-Retirement Benefits) Rules, 1958, namely:-
- (1) These rules may be called the All India Services (Death-cum-Retirement Benefits) Second Amendment Rules, 2007.
(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. - In the All India Services (Death-cum-Retirement Benefits) Rules, 1958, in rule 16, in sub-rule (2A), after
second proviso, in the following proviso shall be inserted, namely :-
“Provided also that a member of the Service borne on the Cadres of Assam-Meghalaya, Manipur-Tripura, Nagaland and Sikkim may retire from service on the date on which he/she completes 15 years of service.”
