Subject: Restricted Holiday (R.H) on the occasion of the birthday of Shri Guru Gobind Singh to be observed 28^{th } December, 2014.
The bithday of Shri Guru Gobind Singh falls twice during the year 2014 A.D. i.e. on 7^{th } January 2014 ( 17 Pausha 1935 Saka Era, Tuesday) and 28^{th } December 2014 ( 7 Pausha 1936 Saka Era. Sunday). Inadvertently, the date 28^{th } December 2014 for the festival on Shri Guru Gobind Singh’s Birthday was not included in the list at Annexure II of this Department’s O.M. of even number dated 11.6.2013, under the heading “List of festivals for fixing Restricted Holidays for the year 2014”. Annexure II will stand amended to this extent.
