The Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board has announced an Inter-Ministry Lawn Tennis Tournament to be held in New Delhi from December 7th to 22nd, 2013. The tournament will feature team events played on Davis Cup Lines, as well as open and veterans’ singles and doubles competitions. Entry forms and further details are available on the persmin.nic.in website. Welfare Officers are requested to publicize the event within their respective ministries and departments. The draws will be held on December 6th, with the entry deadline also being December 6th, 2013.

CIRCULAR
Subject: – Inter-Ministry Lawn Tennis Tournament 2013-14.
Inter Ministry Lawn Tennis Tournament 2013-14 will be held on 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th, 21st & 22nd December 2013, at R.K. Puram Tennis Courts, New Delhi.
- The team events will be played on Davis Cup Lines (2 Singles and 1 doubles only but no reverse singles). In addition to the team events, the tournament will also be held in open singles and doubles & Veterans singles and doubles (above 45 years). The entries in the prescribed proforma already circulated, duly signed by the Welfare officer may be sent along with entry fee, to CCSCSB. The entry fee is as under.

- Schedule for the tournament is as below:
i) Events for veterans (open singles & doubles) will be played on 7th and 8th December 2013.
ii) Team events will be played on 14th & 15th December 2013 & 21st and 22nd December 2013.
- Entry form, eligibility for participation in “Inter-Ministry tournaments” etc are available on the website of the Board i.e. www.persmin.nic.in. The Welfare Officers of central Ministries/Depts are requested to give wide publicity to the proposed tournament.
- Draws will be held on 6th December, 2013, at R.K. Puram Tennis Courts, Sector XIII, New Delhi at 1600 hours sharp. Last date of receipt of entry in the Board is 06.12.2013.
