The Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board (CCSCSB) has announced open selection trials for its Hockey Men Team to participate in the 5th Hockey India Inter Department Men National Championship 2025 and other national tournaments. Trials will be held on September 17, 2025, at Major Dhyan Chand National Hockey Stadium in New Delhi. Selected players will attend a Trial Cum Coaching camp from September 18-27, 2025. Players and coaches participating in the trials and championship will be considered on duty as per Department of Personnel and Training guidelines. A final list of selected and non-selected players will be issued by Ajay Sharma, Convenor- CCSCSB (Hockey, Men). The circular is distributed to Chief Secretaries, Sports Boards, Directors of Sports, Welfare Officers, and posted on the DoPT website.

CIRCULAR
Subject: Open Selection Trials of CCSCSB Hockey Team to participate in 5th Hockey India Inter Department Men National Championship 2025 and in other upcoming National Importance Tournaments-reg.
The Open Selection Trials of CCSCSB Hockey Men Team is scheduled to be held on 17.09.2025 (Wednesday) at 7:00 AM onwards at Major Dhyan Chand National Hockey Stadium, New Delhi for participation in upcoming 5th Hockey India Inter Department Men National Championship 2025 to be held on 30.09.2025 to 10.10.2025 at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand and in other upcoming National Importance Tournaments.
- The Selected players from the Open trial will continue to participate in the Trial Cum Coaching camp scheduled to be held from 18.09.2025 to 27.09.2025 for final Team selection to participate in 5th Hockey India Inter Department Men National Championship 2025.
- In this view, as per Department of Personnel and Training’s OM [Para 3.1 of OM No. 6/1/85-Estt.(Pay-I) dated 16.07.1985] the players/Coaches is to be treated on duty:-
i. on 17.09.2025 to participate in this Open Trail.
ii. From 18.09.2025 to 27.09.2025 to participate in Trial Cum Coaching camp.
iii. From 30.09.2025 to 10.10.2025 to participate in above mentioned tournament and for Journey period as per his/her entitlement. - The individual will produce a participation certificate/relieving letter in support of his/her final TA/DA Claim to his/her respective department.
- The final list of non-selected and selected players for participation in the above tournament after the Trial Cum Coaching camp will be issued by Sh. Ajay Sharma, Convenor-CCSCSB.
