The Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board has announced a Women’s Sports Meet, named “नारी समागम एंव स्पर्धा”, scheduled for December 22nd, 2021, at Vinay Marg Sports Complex, New Delhi. This follows overwhelming responses and requests to include Badminton and Wrestling alongside previously announced events. The meet aims to promote women’s participation in sports as part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative. An entry proforma has been released, outlining the required details for participants and a list of sports including Badminton, Wrestling, Kho-Kho, Cricket, Football, Basketball, Powerlifting, Kabaddi, Volleyball and 100m race. Participants are required to acknowledge the inherent risks associated with participation.

Sub: Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav – promoting women participation in sports – “तारी समागम एंव स्पर्धा”
This is in continuation of Circular of even number, dated 16th November, 2021 on the above cited subject. The response for the event is overwhelming. The Board has been receiving a large number of requests for inclusion of some more games especially Badminton and Wrestling. Therefore, it has been decided to include the following disciplines of sports in Women’s Sports Meet “तारी समागम एंव स्पर्धा” schedule to be held on 22nd December, 2021 (Wednesday) at Vinay Marg Sports Complex, Chankyapuri, New Delhi from 10.00 AM onwards:
