All India Online Music & Dance Competition 2022 for Civilian Central Government Employees

The Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board is hosting an all-India online music and dance competition for the children of Central Government employees. This initiative is part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrating India’s 75th year of independence, aiming to foster interaction and understanding between different states and union territories through cultural activities. The competition will take place on Facebook from January 6th to 8th, 2023, with categories for instrumental, vocal (Classical, Light Classical, and Folk), and dance (Classical, Western, and Folk) performances. Participants must be between 5 and 16 years old and submit their entries by December 30th, 2022. Certain categories of employees’ wards are ineligible for participation, including those in defense services, autonomous bodies, and temporary workers. Digital participation certificates will be awarded to all participants, with additional winner’s certificates for the top three performers in each category.

On the occasion of 75 years of independence of India, Government of India is celebrating “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”. The objective of the Mahotsav is to enhance interaction and promote mutual understanding between people of different States and union Territories by conducting activities in the field of language and culture.

  1. Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board is organizing the CCSCSB online Music & Dance competition 2022 for wards of Civilian Central Government Employees. The event shall be held online on Facebook Group – “All India Civil Services Music, Dance & Short Play Fraternity” from 06 – 08 January 2023. Competition will start at 09:00 pm on 06 Jan 2023. Parents of the participants are required to join the group for live participation. Parents of the wards must have their own facebook profile and necessary equipment’s such as Mobile/Camera and internet connection for live performance. Details of the event are as under:

Note: (i) Participation is allowed only in two events.

(ii) *If sufficient entries in Carnatic vocal are not received, Hindustani & Carnatic Vocal Category will be merged.

  1. The entry for the competition should be sent in the prescribed entry form latest by 30^{th } December 2022 through email at ccscsbcultural@gmail.com only. Proforma of the entry form is attached. No entry by physical mode (by hand or by post) will be accepted.
  2. The Wards of the following categories of employees are not eligible for participation in competition: –
    (a) Uniform personnel in Defence Services/ Para Military Organisations/Central Police Organisation/Police/RPF/CISF/BSF/ITBP/NSG etc.
    (b) Employees of Autonomous bodies/undertaking/Public Sector Banks even though administratively controlled by Central Ministries.
    (c) Casual /Daily Wages Workers.
    (d) Employees attached to offices on temporary duty.
    (e) A newly recruited employee who has put less than 6 months in regular establishment/services.
  3. Decision of the judges shall be final and no appeal against their decision shall be entertained.
  4. All the participants shall be given digital participation certificate. Besides this Winners ( 1^{st }, 2^{nd } & 3 \mathrm{rd} ) will also be given Winner’s Certificate.
  5. After the last date of receipts of entry, a whatsapp group shall be created for coordination with the participants.
  6. Any information regarding change in dates/venue/cancellation etc about the competition will be available on www.dopt.gov.in-Notification-O.M. and Orders-Sports-Misc.
