This circular announces the re-scheduling of the All India Civil Services Chess Tournament 2024-25. Originally planned for February 5th-13th, the tournament has been postponed due to venue unavailability and conflicting with the Vidhan Sabha election. The new dates for the tournament are March 17th to 25th, 2025. The Government of Goa has communicated this change to the Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board, seeking their cooperation for a successful event.

Reference is invited to the CCSCSB Circular of even No. dated 08.01.2025 (copy enclosed) regarding the subject mentioned above. It is to inform that the Government of Goa, through its letter No. F.No. DSYA/CST/Chess-Hosting/2024-25/3290 dated 17.01.2025 (copy enclosed), has notified that the AICS Chess Tournament 2024-25 is now re-scheduled to be held as per below details :-

Sub.: Regarding Postponement of All India Civil Services Chess tournament 2024-25 in Goa.
Sir,
With reference to your Letter No.6/2/2024-25/CCSCSB dt. 08/01/2025. It is regretted to inform you that we have to postpone the All India Civil Services Chess Competition originally scheduled from 05^{th } – 13th Feb 2024 in Goa due to unavailability of venue & also due to numerous postponement request from New Delhi since Vidhan Sabha election is going to be held on 05^{th } Feb 2025.
However, The said competition can be rescheduled from 17^{th } till 25^{th } March 2025.
It is to consider that the new dates will be suitable for all the participating States to participate in the said All India Chess Competition.
Your cooperation in this regards will be appreciated, and we look forward for hosting a successful event with your coordination.
