CIRCULAR

Sub: Inter-Ministry Carrom Tournament 2019-20

Inter Ministry Carrom Tournament 2019-20 will be held from 16 ^th – $24^{\text {th }}$ September, 2019 at Grih Kalyan Kendra, Raja Bazar Community Centre, Gole Market, New Delhi. The Ministries desirous of participating in the Inter-Ministry Carrom Tournament are requested to send their entries in the Performa already circulated along with the entry fee of Rs.150/- for Team and Doubles Championship \& Rs. 75/- for singles to the Central Civil Services Cultural \& Sports Board, Department of Personnel \& Training, Room No.361, ‘B’ Wing, $3^{\text {rd }}$ Floor, Lok Nayak Bhawan, New Delhi-110003 latest by 06.09.2019.
2. Kindly note that there will be only one team from each Ministry, the Ministry may include in their team persons working in the attached and subordinate offices located in Delhi/New Delhi. All teams/individuals would be represented as part of Ministry’s team only. Central Government autonomous organizations like UPSC, Election Commission, C\&AG’s Office, Lok Sabha Secretariat, Rajya Sabha Secretariat, Cabinet Secretariat, PMO etc. can send an independent team. The entries are to be sent through Welfare Officer of the Ministry concerned.
3. In case, at any time, it is found that a player included in the team is not eligible, the team could stand automatically disqualified from the tournament.
4. No entry will be accepted unless accompanied with fee. The entry fee should be deposited only through online mode in the Boards account. Details of Board’s account are as under:

1. The Competition will be held in the following events:-
   1. Team Championship (6 players)
   2. Men’s Singles
   3. Men’s Double
   4. Women’s Singles
   5. Veteran’s Singles (50 years and above)

• The matches will be played as per AICF norms.

1. The draw for the tournament will be held at 11 am on 09.09.2019, at Grih Kalyan Kendra, Raja Bazar Community Centre, Gole Market, New Delhi.

2. The rules and regulations governing the eligibility conditions for participation etc in the Inter-Ministry Tournaments are available on the website of the Department of Personnel Training (dopt.gov.in/DOPT/Welfare/Sports/Eligibility criteria for participation in the Inter-Ministry Tournaments).

VERIFICATION CERTIFICATE

This Ministry/Department intends to enter a team for Inter-Ministry Tournament/Competition. Accordingly the entry form duly filled up is sent herewith. I hereby undertake on behalf of the Ministry to abide by the rules and instruction of the Tournament/Competition.

I certify that the players mentioned in this form who will play in the Inter-Ministry Tournament/Competition are employees of the Central/State Government. No member of the team is a casual / daily wage employee. All the players are eligible to participate in the tournament/competition as per eligibility criteria laid down by the Board . In case if it is found that any member of the team is no eligible and is included in the team, the team will be automatically disqualified from the tournament/competition without any notice to this Ministry/Department.

I also undertake the responsibility to ensure that this Ministry’s team after being entered in the Tournament/Competition will participate in the Tournament/Competition and at any stage would not refuse to participate or withdraw from the Tournament/Competition without prior approval of the Board.

I also certify that all the players participating in the Inter-Ministry Tournament are physically fit. Although CCSCSB provides first aid, any injury or mishap would not be the responsibility of the Board.
