CIRCULAR
Subject : Inter-Ministry Athletic Meet 2019-20
The Inter-Ministry Athletic Meet 2019-20 will be held at Vinay Marg Sports Complex, New Delhi from 16 December to 18 December 2019 ( 03 days). The last date of entries is 10 December 2019 (Tuesday).
2. The competition will be held in the events indicated in Annexure-I.
3. All Central Government Civilian employees working in ministries and their attached/subordinate offices located in Delhi are eligible to participate in this competition.
4. The following categories of employees are not eligible for participation in this competition:-
(a) Uniform personnel in Defence Services/Para Military Organisations/ Central Police Organisation/Police/RPF/CISF/BSF/ITBP/NSG etc.
(b) Employees of Autonomous bodies/Undertakings/Public Sector Banks/ Corporations even though administratively controlled by the Central Ministries.
(c) Casual/Daily wages workers.
(d) Employees attached to offices on temporary duty.
5. All teams/individuals would be represented as part of a Ministry’s team only. The entries are to be sent through the Welfare Officer of the Ministry concerned.
6. An Athlete can participate only in TWO individual events (including veteran events) excluding three Relay events and each Ministry can enter not more than TWO participants in one event. There must be at least FOUR entries to conduct an event.
7. Best athlete (Men \& Women in open category) will be decided on the basis of points tabulated from the point table (IAAF scoring table) to their performance in each event in competition.
8. Team Championships (Men \& Women) in open sections will be awarded on the basis of points upto THREE places viz. 7, $5 \& 4$ in each event.
9. There will be a march past on the inaugural day. Each Ministry will bring their own FLAG for March Past. The Winner and Runners up March Past Trophy will be given to the Ministry for best performance in March Past.
- The entry fee of Rs. 30/- per head per event and Rs. 60/- for per Relay event may be deposited in Board’s account as per details. No entry will be accepted unless accompanied with fee. The entry fee should be deposited only through online mode in the Board Account.

- The names of the intending competitors along with photocopy of their ID Card may be forwarded to the Office of the CCSCSB, Room No. 361, ‘B’ Wing, Lok Nayak Bhavan, Khan Market, New Delhi – 110003 in a prescribed proforma (Annexure-II) duly signed by the Welfare Officer and should reach on or before $10^{\text {th }}$ December, 2019 along with their entry fee. No entry will be accepted after the given date.
- Winners of both Men and Women Team Championship will be awarded cash prize of Rs. 10000/- and Runners up with Rs. 7000/-
- Eligibility conditions are available on the website of the department at (https://dopt.gov.in/about-us/wings-or-division-in-dopt/welfare-division) for participation in the said tournament.
- All athletes are requested to come in proper kit.

This Ministry intends to enter a team for the Inter-Ministry Tournaments. Consequently I submit the entry form duly completed. I hereby undertake on behalf of the Ministry to abide by the rules and instruction of the Tournament.
I certify that the players mentioned in this form who will play in the Inter-Ministry Tournament are employers of the Ministry. No member of the team is a casual/daily wage employees. All the players are eligible to participate in the tournament as per eligibility criteria laid down by the Board. In case, if it is found that any member of the team is not eligible and is included in the team, the team will be automatically disqualified from the tournament without any notice to this Ministry.
I also certify that all the players mentioned in the form are physically and mentally fit to participate in this Tournament. Although CCSCSB provides First Aid, any injury or mishap would not be responsibility of the Board.
I also undertake the responsibility to ensure that this Ministry’s team after being entered in the tournament will participate in the tournament and at any stage would not refuse to participate or withdraw from the tournament without prior approval of the Board.
