The Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board (CCSCSB) has clarified that participants in Inter Ministry Tournaments scheduled for February/March 2021 must present a negative RT-PCR test report conducted within 72 hours of their competition date. This circular addresses queries regarding acceptable test types, confirming that Rapid Antigen Tests are not sufficient. The instructions apply to all players, officials, and supporting staff, and the information is being disseminated to Welfare Officers, Convenors, participants, and the Covid Task Force.

Subject: Organisation of Inter Ministry Tournaments/Competition, 2020-21 – General Instructions regarding Covid-19 Test
CCSCSB has recently issued Circulars for organisation of various Inter Ministry Tournaments scheduled to be held in February/March, 2021. It is stated at Sr.No. 4 of Annexure – II i.e. General Instructions for Players and Supporting Staff that “all players and supporting staff to show and carry a copy of their Covid-19 negative test report conducted 72 hours prior to their date of competition”.
- The Board and its Convenors have been receiving queries from players that whether copy of negative RT-PCR Test report OR copy of negative Rapid Antigen Test report is required to show/carry. In this connection, it is informed to all players/officials that they are required to show/carry copy of negative RT-PCR test report conducted 72 hours prior to their date of competition.
- All players/officials and supporting staff may please take note of the aforesaid instructions for compliance.
