The Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board (CCSCSB) has revised guidelines for participation in Inter Ministry Tournaments/Competitions in light of the improving Covid-19 situation and high vaccination rates among employees. Previously, an RT-PCR report was required for participation. Now, fully vaccinated individuals are exempt from this requirement, but must present their vaccination certificates. Those with only one dose or no dose will still need to provide an RT-PCR report. These revised guidelines are effective immediately from the date of the circular.

CIRCULAR
Subject: Organisation of Inter Ministry Tournaments
CCSCSB is currently organising Inter Ministry Tournaments/Competitions in various disciplines of Sports. As per extant instructions regarding Covid-19 Guidelines enclosed with the Circulars issued in this regard earlier, RT-PCR report was one of the requirements to participate in the Inter Ministry Tournaments/Competitions.
- The Board has been receiving a large number of representations stating that the overall situation regarding Covid-19 pandemic has been improved quite significantly. Further, most of the employees those who are participating in the aforesaid Inter Ministry Tournaments have taken both doses of vaccine.

In view of the above background, the matter was reconsidered in the Board and it has been decided to allow the persons to participate in the Inter Ministry Tournaments/Competitions who are fully vaccinated without the requirement of producing RT-PCR report. The Vaccination Certificates in respect of first and second dose shall be submitted to the respective Convener/Covid Task Force at the time of participation in the Tournament/Match. In case a person who has taken only one dose or no dose is taken, he/she is required to produce RT-PCR report before taking part in the Tournament/Competition.

Revised guidelines shall be effective from the date of issue of this letter.
