The Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board (CCSCSB) is organizing an Inter-Ministry Athletic Meet from November 23rd to 25th, 2022, at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi, to commemorate 75 years of India’s independence and promote interaction between states and union territories. Ministries/Departments can participate by submitting entries with a fee of Rs. 30 per individual event and Rs. 60 per relay event by November 18th, 2022. The circular details eligibility criteria, qualifying standards for the AICS Tournament (provided in Annexure-I), team composition rules (maximum two participants per event from one ministry), and a list of ineligible employee categories (e.g., uniformed personnel, daily wage workers). CIRCULAR

Sub : Inter-Ministry Athletic Meet 2022-23.

On the occasion of 75 years of independence of India, Government of India is celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. The objective of the Mahotsav is to enhance interaction and promote mutual understanding between people of different States and Union Territories by conducting activities in the field of language and culture.
2. To commemorate the glorious history of Indian people and culture, Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board (CCSCSB) is organizing InterMinistry Athletic Meet 2022-23 from $23^{\text {rd }}$ to $25^{\text {th }}$ November, 2022 at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium (Warm up Area), New Delhi. The Ministry/Department desirous to participate in the tournament may send their entries in the prescribed proforma along with the entry fee of Rs.30/- (per event) for individual event and Rs. 60/- (per reläy) for Relay event on the address i.e. The Secretary, Central Civil Services Cultural \& Sports Board, Department of Personnel and Training, Room No 361, ‘B’ Wing, $3^{\text {rd }}$ Floor, Lok Nayak Bhavan, Khan Market, New Delhi – 110003. Last date for submission of entries is $18^{\text {th }}$ November, 2022 (Friday).
3. List of events for Inter Ministry Athletic Meet 2022-23 along with qualifying standards for selection in CS Athletic Team for AICS Tournament is at Annexure-1. Further, maximun 02 athletes per event in Open category and 01 athlete per event in Veteran category will be selected for CS Athletic Team. If number of qualifying athletes will be more than composition of AICS team, then the selection will be made on the basis of points tabulated from the points table (IAAF Scoring Table) to the performance of participants in each event.
4. Only TWO participants are allowed in one event from one Ministry. An Athlete can participate in TWO individual events only including veteran events


(except Relay events).Minimum Four entries are required to conduct an event. In case less than four entries will receive for an event, that event will be conducted as Trials for selection in CS Athletic Team for participation in AICS tournament. Further, NO Medal and Certificates will be awarded to the winners of the Trial Events.
5. Winners and Runners-up of both Men and Women Team Championships will be awarded cash prize of Rs. 10,000/- and Rs. 7,000/- respectively. Team Championships Trophy (Men & Women) in Open category will be awarded on the basis of points given to first THREE places/positions i.e. 7 for first position, 5 for second position and 4 to third position respectively, in each event. Best athlete Trophy (Men \& Women) in Open category will be decided on the basis of points tabulated from the point table (IAAF scoring table) to their performance in each event.
6. There will be only one team from each Ministry. The Ministry may include in their team persons working in the attached and subordinate offices located at Delhi/ New Delhi. All teams/ Individuals would be represented as a part of Ministry’s Team only. Central government autonomous organization like UPSC, Election Commission, C\&AG’s Office, Lok Sabha Secretariat, Rajya Sabha Secretariat, Cabinet Secretariat, PMO etc. can sent independent teams. The entries are to be sent through the Welfare Offices of the Ministry concerned.
7. The following categories of employees are not eligible for participation in this competition:-
(a) Uniformed personnel in Defence Services/Para Military Organisations/ Central Police Organisation/Police/RPF/CISF/BSF/ITBP/NSG etc.
(b) Employees of Autonomous bodies/Undertakings/Public Sector Banks/Corporations even though administratively controlled by the Central Ministries.
(c) Casual/Daily wages workers.
(d) Employees attached to offices on temporary duty.

In case, at any time, it is found that a player included in the team is not eligible, the team would stand automatically disqualified from the tournament.
8. No entry will be accepted unless accompanied with fee. The entry should be sent in the prescribed proforma (Annexure II),duly signed by the Welfare Officer concerned and should reach on or before the last date mentioned above.

9. Referees’/Umpires’/Officials’ decision shall be final and binding on the competing teams.
10. The rules and regulations governing the eligibility conditions for participation, etc. in the Inter-Ministry Tournament are available on the website of the Department of Personnel & Training (https://dopt.gov.in/aboutus/wings-or-division-in-dopt/welfare-divisons).
11. The general instructions as per SOP/ Guidelines of COVID-19 issued by Central/State Govt., are to be strictly followed by all players and supporting staff during the competition. If it is found that the general instructions are not followed by any player/ official in the tournament he/she shall be liable to be debarred from the tournament.
12. All athletes are requested to report in proper kit.
