Award of Scholarship to Children of Non-Statutory Canteen Employees

A

This office memorandum details the award of scholarships to the children of non-statutory departmental canteen employees. The scholarship is for the 14th batch, covering the academic year 2012-13, and is based on the student’s performance in the academic year 2011-12. Key guidelines include a deadline for applications (October 31, 2012), requirements for forwarding through Ministries/Departments, and specific documentation needed, including attested mark sheets and declarations. Eligibility criteria stipulate a minimum of 60% aggregate marks, with relaxations for SC/ST and handicapped students. The scheme prioritizes children of Central Government employees and excludes those already receiving scholarships from other departments. The application process requires a detailed form (Annexure-1) and a declaration from the applicant.
