Implementation of MACP Scheme for Canteen Employees

OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject : The Assured Career Progression Scheme for the Canteen employees working in non-statutory Departmental Canteens/Tiffin Rooms located in Central Government Offices – Implementation of SIU Report – regarding.

The undersigned is directed to say that this office has been receiving references on the above mentioned subject from various Offices/Depts./Individuals etc. stating that many Ministries/Depts. have not implemented the ACP Scheme for Departmental Canteen employees issued by this Department’s vide O.M. No. 3/4/2005-Dir.(C), dated 14.1.2008. It is, stated that financial upgradtions as per provision of earlier ACP Scheme would be granted till 31.8 .2008 and the MACP Scheme issued by this Department vide O.M. No.3/4/2010-Dir.(C), dated 1.9.2010 would be operational w.e.f. 1.9.2008. It is, further clarified that no past cases would be reopened.

  1. All the Ministries/Department’s are once again requested to implement the MACP Scheme for the canteen employees as per instructions of the scheme.
