This Office Memorandum extends the validity of previous orders regarding the local purchase of stationery and other articles from Kendriya Bhandar, NCCF, and other Multi-State Cooperative Societies with majority Central Government shareholding. Initially valid until March 31, 2010, and previously extended to March 31, 2012, the validity is now further extended to March 31, 2013. The extension is issued with the concurrence of the Ministry of Finance and applies to all Ministries/Departments of the Government of India, their attached offices, and organizations financed or controlled by them. Copies have been sent to relevant cooperative society managing directors and the Ministry of Finance for information and action.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject:Local purchase of stationery and other articles from Kendriya Bhandar, NCCF and other Multi-State Cooperative Societies having majority shareholding by the Central Government.
The Ministries/Departments may kindly refer to Department of Personnel and Training O.M. No.14/12/94-Welfare (Vol.II) dated 5.7.2007 on the above subject. It is stated that the validity of the O.M. dated 5.7.2007 beyond 31.3.2010 was extended with the approval of competent authority for a period of two years i.e. upto 31.3.2012 vide O.M.No.14/1/2009-Welfare dated 16.3.2010..
- The validity of the O.M.No.14/12/94-Welfare(Vol.II) dated 5.7.2007 has been further extended with the approval of the competent authority for a period of one year beyond 31.3.2012 i.e. upto 31.3.2013.
- This issues with the concurrence of the Ministry of Finance Department of Expenditure vide their I.D. No.8(6)/2010-E.II(Pt.) dated 16-22012.
- The contents of this Office Memorandum may be brought to the notice of all concerned.
