Reference is invited to the Notification of even number dated 17^{th } October 2017 relating to intimation of schedule of process for elections to the post of Chairman, Kendriya Bhandar.
- Shri Manwer Singh Rawat, one of the elected Director, has filed his nomination papers for contesting the election to the post of Chairman. No other nomination paper has been received by the Returning Officer during the validity of the specified period for filing of nomination papers on 20.10.2017. The nomination papers filed by Shri Manwer Singh Rawat have been scrutinized and have been found valid.
- Since there is only one nomination, there is no need for holding of elections to the post of Chairman and Shri Manwer Singh Rawat is declared elected unopposed to the post of Chairman, Kendriya Bhandar.
- This is for information of all concerned.
