Sir,
I am directed to say that in terms of the Department of Personnel and Training Office Memorandum of even number dated 05.03.2015, elections of the office-bearers/members of the Managing Committee/ Executive Committees of the Residents’ Welfare Association recognized by DOP&T for the block years 2015-16 and 2016-17 was to be held by 30^{th } April 2015. However, as per the records available with the Department of Personnel and Training some Residents’ Welfare Associations have neither conducted election nor initiated the process for conducting the election.
- Since the Managing Committee of such Associations (recognized) has now ceased to exist, it is requested that you may please recommend names and post to be held for approval to form an ad-hoc committee consisting of 10 executive members who are non-controversial and impartial to conduct the regular elections 2015-17 as per the guidelines/Model Constitution. The regular election of RWA should be conducted only after obtaining approval of this Department for constitution of Ad-hoc Committee of the RWA.
