The Department of Personnel & Training has cancelled the appointment of Sh. Budhbir Singh as Area Welfare Officer (AWO) for Sector-5, R.K. Puram, with immediate effect. This decision follows an examination of complaints received from residents regarding the AWO/RO’s conduct during the election process and the subsequent election results of CGERWA Sector-5. The cancellation is for the calendar years 2023 and 2024 and was approved by the Chief Welfare Officer. A wide range of government departments and organizations have been notified of this cancellation.

Subject:-Cancellation of appointment of Area Welfare Officer(AWO) of Sector-5, R.K.Puram for the calendar years 2023 and 2024-regarding.
Reference is invited to this Department’s O.M. No 32/05/2022-Welfare dated 21.12.2022, on the subject mentioned above. Consequent upon examination of the complaints received from the residents of Sector 5, R.K. Puram against AWO/RO during the election process and against the election result of CGERWA Sector-5, R.K. Puram, it has been decided to terminate the appointment of Sh. Budhbir Singh as AWO, Sector-5, R.K. Puram, New Delhi with immediate effect.
- This issues with the approval of Chief Welfare Officer.
