Rotational Transfer Policy – Details of Incumbency in CSS

This Office Memorandum from the Department of Personnel & Training requests all Cadre Units of the Central Secretariat Service (CSS) to furnish details regarding the incumbency of officers in various grades – Director, Deputy Secretary, Under Secretary, Section Officer, and Assistant – as of August 10, 2011. This request stems from an assurance given in response to a Lok Sabha question concerning the Rotational Transfer Policy. The Department notes that many Ministries/Departments have yet to provide the necessary information and emphasizes the immediate need for the enclosed proforma to be completed to fulfill the original assurance.

Subject:- Assurance given in reply to Lok Sabha Unstarred Question No. 1654 answered on 10.08.2011 regarding Rotational Transfer Policy – Details of incumbency in all the grade of CSS.

The undersigned is directed to refer this Department’s OM of even numbers dated the 8^{th } September, 2011 and 27^{th } October, 2011 on the subject mentioned above. Most of the Ministries/Department has not furnished the requisite information till date.

  1. It is, therefore, requested that the requisite information may be furnished in the enclosed profroma immediately to enable this Department to fulfill the assurance.
