This circular details the process for appointing Direct Recruit Stenographers Grade ‘D’ (SDRs) based on the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination, 2014. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recommended 129 candidates, with dossiers received for 125. Attestation forms have been issued, and medical examination letters sent to 107 candidates. Character and antecedent verification is underway. Candidates are instructed to contact a designated Section Officer for queries and will be required to attend mandatory induction training at the Institute of Secretariat Training & Management (ISTM) from June 8th to July 17th, 2015. Subject: Appointment of Direct Recruit Stenographers Grade ‘D’ (SDRs) of CSSS based on the Steno Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination, 2014- regarding.

Staff Selection Commission conducted the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination-2014 on 14.09.2014. The final results of the said examination were declared on 10.02.2015. SSC recommended 129 candidates for the post of Steno Grade ‘D’ of Central Secretariat Stenographers Service. Dossiers of 125 candidates have so far been received in this Department and 4 dossiers are still awaited from SSC.

This Division had issued Attestation Form to 125 candidates of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination-2014. Now, the letters for Medical Examination have been issued to 107 candidates who have submitted their willingness to join the post vide this Department’s OM dated 23.04.2015 and 24.04.2015. Further, the letters for Character & Antecedent verification have also been forwarded to the authority of the District of which the candidates is a permanent resident and other places where they have resided for more than one year during the preceding five years. The overall status of Attestation Forms, Medical Examination letters and Character and Antecedent verification letters etc. is annexed to this letter.
In case, the Medical Examination letter/Attestation Form has not been received by the candidates or they have some query in this regard, they are advised to immediately contact Sh. P.C. Monga, Section Officer, CS-II Division. He is accessible at phone no. 011-24620119 (Off.).
On receipt of duly completed Medical Examination report, the offer of appointment will be issued to the candidates subject to verification of Character and Antecedent by the competent authority. The candidates will be required to report to Institute of Secretariat Training & Management (ISTM), New Delhi for mandatory Induction Training programme to be conducted during 08.06.2015 to 17.07.2015.
