OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: – Continuation of ad-hoc appointment in the grade of SSAs of CSCS-reg.
The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s O.M. of even number dated 30th June, 2015 on the subject mentioned above, vide which Cadre Units were permitted to continue ad-hoc appointments in the grade of SSAs up to 31.12.2015. Further continuation of these appointments has been reviewed in this Department and it has been decided that the period of the ad-hoc appointment of those Junior Secretariat Assistants (JSA) of CSCS who are working as Senior Secretariat Assistants (SSAs) of CSCS on ad-hoc basis may be extended up to 31.07.2016 or till they are appointed on regular basis, whichever is earlier.
- Continuance of ad-hoc appointment shall not confer on the appointees any right to continue in SSA Grade indefinitely or for inclusion in the Select List of SSA of CSCS or to claim seniority in SSA Grade of CSCS.
- Other terms and conditions mentioned in the relevant OMs will remain unchanged.

Copies of the order along with the details of the officials (date of birth, date of joining, Rank No., Select List Year, etc) may be endorsed to this Department for record.

Further, ad-hoc promotion in the grade of SSA has already been discontinued as per DoP&T’s OM No. 12/4/2016-CS.II(B) dated 27.06.2016. All the existing ad-hoc SSAs should be regularized after conducting DPC for SL-2015 in terms of DoP&T’s OM No. 12/4/2016-CS.II(B) dated 17.06.2016 by 31.07.2016 positively.
