Fixation of Seniority for Promotion – UDCs to Assistant Grade CSS Select List 2012

This office memorandum from the Department of Personnel and Training addresses the fixation of seniority for promotion of Under Clerks (UDCs) of Central Secretariat Clerical Service (CSCS) to the Assistant Grade of the Central Civil Services (CSS) Select List for the year 2012. It follows up on previous communications requesting Cadre Units to submit consolidated reports detailing officials regularized in the Assistant Grade and those not regularized, along with reasons for non-inclusion. The memorandum notes that only 8 Cadre Units have responded and requests defaulting units to submit their reports by July 10, 2015. A list of Cadre Units to whom this communication is addressed is also provided, spanning various ministries and departments including Agriculture, Civil Aviation, Culture, Health, Home Affairs, and more.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Fixation of range of seniority for promotion from UDCs of CSCS to Assistant Grade of CSS-Select List for the year 2012(SQ)-regarding.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s O.M. of even number dated 1st June, 2015 and subsequent reminder dated 17th June, 2015 vide which all the Cadre Units were requested to furnish a consolidated report indicating the names and details of the officials who have been regularized in the Assistant Grade against Select List year 2012 and also a list of those UDCs who have not been regularized, along with the reasons for their non-inclusion, to this Department by 12th June, 2015 and 23rd June, 2015 respectively.

  1. It has been observed that only 8 Cadre Units have so far furnished the consolidated report. The defaulting Cadre Units are request to furnish the consolidated report to this Department immediately but not later than 10.7.2015 in any case.
