OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Fixation of range of seniority for promotion from SSA(erstwhile UDC) of CSCS to Assistant Section Officer (erstwhile Assistant) of CSSSelect List for the year 2010(SQ)-reg.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s O.M. even number 3^{rd } May, 2016 and subsequent reminders dated 16^{th } May, 2016 and 8^{th } June, 2016 on the subject mentioned above.

2. On perusal of the records it is observed that, so far, a few cadre units have not furnished the requisite information. The concerned cadre units are requested to take the following action:
   (i) Furnish the missing details of the officials whose name appear in Annexure-I of this O.M.
   (ii) Furnish the DPC status/promotion order of the officers whose names appear in Annexure-III of this O.M.
3. Further, it has also been observed from information received that some cadre units have not conducted DPC in respect of a few officers. The concerned cadre units are, therefore, requested to conduct DPC in respect of these officers whose names appear in Annexure-III of this O.M. It is reiterated that DPC need to be held for the officers who were in service on crucial date i.e. 01-07-2010 but had retired subsequently on superannuation or otherwise (i.e. before their DPC could be held). However, their promotion order need not be issued by the cadre units.
