This Office Memorandum from the Department of Personnel and Training requests all Ministries and Departments of the Government of India to assess the current sanctioned strength of officers in the CSCS cadre. The assessment should consider harmonizing functional requirements, enhancing service effectiveness, and building capacity. Subject 1st Cadre Review of the CSCS-Inviting proposals from the Ministries / Departmentsreg.
The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s Order of even number dated 11th November, 2022 vide which Committee was constituted for the 1st Cadre Review of the CSCS. Attention is also invited to the Terms of Reference mentioned in the said Order.
- All the Ministries / Departments of the Government of India are requested to assess their present Sanctioned Strength of officers of CSCS cadre with reference to harmonizing their functional requirements, enhancing of effectiveness of service and capacity building and send fresh proposals for additional requirement of various grades of CSCS in the following format:-

- The above said information may kindly be furnished to this Department (CS.II Division) urgently within 10 days from the date of issue of this O.M. through email to vinay.kumar.dopt@nic.in and cc to chowdhury.r13@nic.in .
