Training Programme for Sr. PPS/PPS of CSSS at ISTM

This office memorandum announces a professional development workshop for Senior Private Secretaries (Sr. PPS) and Private Secretaries (PPS) of the Central Secretariat Service (CSSS) at the Institute of Secretariat Training & Management (ISTM) from February 2nd to February 13th, 2009. Cadre authorities are instructed to release the nominated officers for this compulsory training. Participants will undertake a study tour, with administrative Ministries/Departments responsible for sanctioning advance funds. Officers are required to submit their bio-data by January 27th, 2009. A list of nominated officers is included as an annexure, detailing their cadre and place of work, spanning various government departments including Agriculture, Defence, Health, Commerce, and more.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject : Training Programme for the professional development of Sr. PPS/PPS of the CSSS at the ISTM from 2/2/09 to 13/2/09.

The undersigned is directed to say that Sr.PPS/PPS of CSSS whose names are given in Annexure have been nominated to participate in the Professional Development Workshop being conducted by the ISTM during the period from 02/02/09 to 13/02/09. It is requested that these officers may please be relieved of their duties with the direction to report to Shri K S. Kumar, Joint Director, ISTM, Administrative Block, JNU Campus (Old), New Delhi-110067 at 9 A.M. on 2^{nd } February, 2009.

  1. Cadre Authorities are requested to ensure that the officers nominated to the above workshop are released in time. The training is compulsory and no request for exemption of the nomination of the officer either from the Ministry/Department or the officer concerned shall be entertained by this Department or the Institute.
  2. As part of the Workshop, the participants would be taken on a study tour. In order to meet the expenditure for the tour all the administrative Ministries/Departments would require to sanction an advance. The amount of advance to be sanctioned would be intimated directly to the Ministry/Department of the participating officers by ISTM in due course.
  3. Confirmation with regard to the release of the officers along with their respective bio-data may please be sent to Shri K S. Kumar, Joint Director, ISTM, New Delhi by \mathbf{2 7}^{th } January, 2009 at the aforesaid address with a copy to the undersigned.
